Training

"The actual cleaners and supervisors are well trained and deliver on brief."

Training is at the heart of everything we do.

We invest heavily in all our staff and help them grow and develop.

For example, most management appointments come from within the company, as promising members of Cleanology's junior team are promoted to more senior roles.

Here are some of things we do:

  • Before we even employ a cleaner, applicants are trained and then tested in basic cleaning techniques.
  • Once hired, cleaners are inducted on site, covering all aspects of fire & first aid, health & safety and any practical aspects of cleaning relevant to that site.
  • A few days into the job, cleaners are invited to attend Cleanology's Head Office for a compulsory full induction & training session, lasting a few hours. This is an in-depth theory and practical training session.
  • Our supervisors are usually long-standing, loyal and reliable members of staff. Most of our supervisors started with the company as cleaners and have been promoted. In order to qualify as a supervisor, would-be supervisors have to attend an intensive training course at Cleanology's Head Office in order to qualify and receive a certificate of attendance.
  • We also arrange refresher courses for both cleaners and supervisors throughout the year.
  • Cleanology also employ a number of specialists, qualified in carpet and hard floor cleaning, for example. Our Specialists regularly attend courses at, amongst other places ProChem, widely recognised as the industry's leading chemical manufacturer. These courses cement the knowledge that our specialists already have and allows them to develop their skills and expertise further.
  • For senior management, we provide frequent IT, communication, HR and other relevant training.
